Selby College also offers a wide range of Higher Education courses (both full and part time) which include Foundation Degrees, Higher National Certificates (HNCs), Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), all of which are validated by a local University or a nationally recognised body. 

The Adult Provision offered at Selby College allows the individual to improve career prospects, refresh existing skills, or study a leisure interest whilst at the same time meeting new people.  From Archaeology to Word Processing, we have hundreds of part and full time courses that are designed to fit around the workplace or other commitments.

Our Commercial Training Unit can provide a total solution to all Employer Workforce needs. 
Our experienced team of Business Advisers will design a programme of support based on a free Training Needs Analysis before passing it to the employer for agreement.  There are a wealth of courses available to the employer including Health and Safety in the workplace, First Aid Courses, Management, Team leading and Customer Service (see our website for more details – www.selby.ac.uk)

Selby College has a range of facilities for the local community to enjoy.  The College’s Four Season Restaurant with a licensed bar, is staffed by the College’s Hospitality and Catering students.  It offers something a little bit special for lunches, functions and events.  It is open to the general public who can hire it for business functions, family celebrations and special events.
